This film on the Dreyfus affair is a fictionalised reconstruction in two parts, and focuses on the role of the newspapers, the role of the press and Matheiu Dreyfus' investigations leading up to the disclosure of the truth.

It moves from the trial and the repercussions of Emile Zola's article "J'accuse", up to rehabilitation, and examines the whole army conspiracy.
