The film is set in the period from 1918-1920, during the Estonian fight for independence against the Bolshevik invasion.

It follows a group of 17 year old schoolboys who decide to fight for Estonia's freedom against Soviet Union soldiers.

Original Estonian version with some spoken Finnish and with optional English, Estonian, Finnish or Swedish subtitles.
