A multi-national film, linking characters from the US, Mexico, Morocco and Tokyo in such a way as to present a 'snapshot' of lives lived on the same planet but in vastly different cultural spheres.

Human suffering and compassion in the face of desperate problems is the focus of the film, revealing the similarities as well as the differences between nationalities and families the world over.
