Four weddings and a funeral

This is a romantic comedy set amongst a group of friends at the top end of English society. It tells the story of Charles, a bewildered bachelor who seems doomed to spend his life going to other people's weddings, never finding a special someone to make a wife of his own. Through a series of weddings and funerals the film gently portrays a range of relationships and takes an uncritical look at how the rich conduct themselves.
