Jack and Sarah
Tim Sullivan (1995)
A heart-warming story about Jack, a successful lawyer, who becomes at once new father and newly bereaved widow. This film is good for listening comprehension - the dialogue relates directly to the action which gives a lot of visual clues and the storyline is not challenging so that students can concentrate on the script. Also it is accessible to less advanced students as some of the conversation is one-sided and spoken to a baby so the dialogue is slower.
