A thriller, seen through the eyes of Rachel, an alcoholic divorcee who takes the same train every morning and fantasises about the people living along the route.

One day she sees something so shocking that she feels compelled to tell the police. It soon becomes clear however that nobody believes her and she becomes more and more embroilled by the events as she turns detective.
