The detailed units break language down into particular areas e.g. 'cause and effect', 'comparison and contrast', 'classification and definition' etc. which are then sub-divided into meaningful funtions such as using 'common vocabulary to describe problems', 'prepositions that show cause', phrases for argumentation' among many others.
