Izẹdo II: Ẹdo names and their meaning
Names are important words that define a child's identity and in Edo's culture they are based on many factors and sometimes can be as long as entire sentences.
The first two chapters of this book illustrate the principles that govern name-giving and the third and main chapter presents the most common names in alphabetical order, with their meaning, abbreviated version, and indication of gender.
