This forensic thriller follows detective inspector Nick Cafmeyer's investigation of a disturbing case of home imprisonment, but as he digs deeper, he unveils the criminal activities of a sinister network that has links to his own past.

The film is based on the bestselling novel with the same title by crime writer Mo Hayder, one of the Nordic noir new revelations.
