An advanced course in Chinese geared towards humanities students or anyone with an interest in arts and culture.

In 10 units, each containing the following sections: Text (in Chinese simplified characters), New words (translations of key words into English), Word usage and sentence patterns (grammar explanations and examples (in English) with exercises), Extended reading, Dialogue and Exercises.

All texts, dialogues and new words are read by native speakers on the accompanying CD.
