Chong Liung Man (2009)

Drama series spanning 4 generations and over 70 years, it revolves around the Yueniang, the beautiful daughter of a mistress in the large Peranakan family, who had married a Japanese photographer against her family's will.

After her parents's death during WWII, Yueniang stays with her grandmother and learns the art of cooking and sewing, which attract many rich suitors, but her eyes are set on a penniless driver.

The series consists of 34 episodes of 45 minutes each and it is in Chinese with optional English and Chinese subtitles (audio also available in Cantonese).
