A learning pack based on the Chinese film 'Farewell my concubine, suitable for intermediate to advanced students of Chinese who have a vocabulary of approx. at least 3,000 words.

The book contains historical, cultural and language notes plus a variety of comprehension, vocabulary and listening exercises, all based around eight selected exerpts from the film.

The DVD contains two versions of the film - the complete version plus a re-edited version (Resume) - and has options to watch with English subtitles, Chinese subtitles or no subtitles.
