An Italo-Dalmatian Romance language, spoken by around 341,000 people. Spoken primarily in Corsica but also in Northern Sardinia and some larger cities in France.
It is split into 2 dialects; Northern Corsican and Southern Corsican. UNESCO classifies Corsican as an endangered language.
