A beginner level course in written and spoken Breton, suitable for independent study and with no prior knowledge of the language required.

The book comprises an Introduction on the history of the language, its pronunciation and spelling rules, followed by 24 study units with soundrecordings covering all the typical situations and topics relevant to the tourist and traveller.

Lessons consist of dialogues, new vocabulary, grammar notes, language & culture notes, reading sections and exercises; the answer keys are included, together with a French-Breton and Breton-French glossary.
