Satyajit Ray (2003)

This is the second of a trilogy of films by Satyajit Ray based on a novel (1929) by Bibhutibhushan Bannerjee.

This film focuses on Apu's relationship with his mother and depicts the sharp contrast between life in the countryside and the city of Calcutta, where Apu goes to college.

In Bengali throughout with optional English subtitles.
