This film is about the Armenian Genocide that took place under the Ottoman Empire in 1915, and it centers on a young blacksmith who is captured by the Turkish police and is separated from his family.

Years later, having survived the genocide, he embarks on a journey to find his two daughters, who are apparently still alive.
