A selection of fifty Amharic newspaper articles aiming to bridge the gap between elementary textbooks and the complex syntax of daily newspaper stories.

This reader is accompanied by a general glossary and an English translation of each article to aid learner comprehension.

Published in the 1980s, therefore the articles are fairly dated but are the ideal level for Intermediate learners.
