Winner of the Silver Bear for best screenplay, this drama of family honour revolves around Nik, a 17-year-old who is ready to set up his own café when his father is accused of murder.

Nik and the other male members of the family are put under house arrest and Roudina, Nik's sister, has to leave school and take over the family business; and while she thrives in her newfound role, Nik becomes increasingly resentful and tries to take the legal matter in his hands, despite the risks.
