It aimed to provide a web-based resource for secondary school pupils and to make available a range of online material in different languages, with content designed to engage learners and support new developments in the secondary languages curriculum. It also supported face to face learning opportunities, and provided some facility for training teachers in the best use of appropriate methods and materials. The University of Cambridge Language Centre was one of the key players in the content development for this project.
