Nebojša Radić

I am Director of CULP (Cambridge University Language Programmes) that comprises the University-wide foreign language provision as well as a number of Language for Academic Purposes (LAP) courses. I am also part of the team that designs and produces the multimedia didactic materials for online delivery.

Before moving to Cambridge in 2001, I was Senior Tutor in Italian and Co-ordinator of the Flexible Learning Project of the School of European Languages at the University of Auckland in New Zealand where I designed multimedia materials for the Italian, French and Spanish courses offered at a distance.

My research interest focuses on the methodology of computer mediated language teaching, world/translingual literature and self-translation.

I was member and vice-Chair of SCHML (Standing Conference of Heads of Modern Languages in the UK) and subsequently member of the UCML (University Conference of Modern Languages) Executive Committee representing the constituency of Institution Wide Language Programmes.

I have published fiction in three languages (Serbian, Italian and English) and currently, I am completing a second novel (three versions in all three languages) as well as a study on translingual writing and self-translation. The title of the English version of this novel is The Russian Soul.

I am editor of the language section of the Ljudi govore literary magazine (Toronto, Canada) and a member of the International Council of the Interkulturalnost magazine (Novi Sad, Serbia).
