Suitable for intermediate/advanced students, the book aims to improve comprehension of spoken Egyptian Arabic and consists of 6 audio texts (divided in 36 sections) on various topics.
They are delivered in natural unscripted form by 6 native speakers from the greater Cairo region, and can be freely downloaded as MP3s (www.lingualism.com).
The texts are presented in arabic script, phonemic transcription and English translation, and pre-listening activities and post-listening exercises are also included.
