2013 Pre-Sessional Course Dates

The EAP Pre-Sessional Course will run from:

13th August 2013 - 18th September 2013

Accommodation is booked from:

11th August 2013 - 19th September 2013

There will be a Welcome Buffet on 12th August 2013 and a Formal Farewell Dinner on the last Sunday of the course.

2013 Pre-Sessional Course Fees

The five-week programme fee costs are £1,980 (Unconditional) & £2,030 (Conditional)

The accommodation fee is £1,300
(Monday - Friday: breakfast and evening meal; Saturday & Sunday: breakfast only.)

Cancellation Policy and Fees

Payment of the tuition and, if applicable, accommodation fees is due in full by Friday, 12th July 2013. Cancellations will be subject to a charge of £300.

Registrations will continue to be accepted, where places are available, up to the start of the programme.

The course starts on 13th August. It is imperative that all students arrive in time for the start of the course. However, given the new UK visa regulations, the Language Centre is aware that it may not be possible for some students to arrive by this date. The final date for admission onto the course is 9am on Monday 19th August. This is especially important for those students for whom attendance on the course is a condition of their entry to the University of Cambridge. Conditional students who cannot be in Cambridge by 9am on this date will not be allowed to use the Pre-Sessional as the fulfilment of their language condition.

In the event that the course is oversubscribed the Language Centre reserves the right to give priority to those students for whom attendance on the course is a condition of their entry to the University of Cambridge.

*Accommodation Policy

Accommodation is provided for the duration of the course at Peterhouse. Students on the course are welcome to source their own private accommodation or enquire whether your own College would be able to provide accommodation during this time. The Language Centre, however, takes no responsibility for such arrangements.

For those students intending to stay at Peterhouse, it is possible to arrange an earlier arrival date (ca. 1-2 days) if you cannot arrive on Sunday 11th August due to flight restrictions. Please enquire at EAPAdmin@cam.ac.uk for further details.

The accommodation fee covers accommodation from Sunday, 11th August to Thursday, 19th September 2013 and is non-refundable. Any additional days will be charged at the College day rate. There is no refund for late arrivals or early leavers. For MBA students and those on other degree programmes that start before the end of the Pre-Sessional, special arrangements are already in place.
